Gurmat Vidyala
Gurmat Vidyala is an initiative of Dal Panth Italy dedicated to the dissemination of education and learning of Gurbani, the sacred scriptures of the Gurus, as well as precious historical Sikh texts, mostly written in poetic form. This project also aims to delve into other philosophical texts, known as katha vale granth, a wide range of philosophical and spiritual texts that play a fundamental role in deepening the knowledge of Indian philosophy, ancient traditions and related disciplines. These texts provide a bridge between Gurmat and other Indian schools of thought, promoting a broader understanding of spiritual practices. The teaching of these texts has been transmitted in the different Sampardavas (Sikh orders) from generations to the present day, through institutions known as Bunge, Taksala(n), Akharhe and Vidyale.
To ensure that this initiative can reach as many people as possible, in addition to the face-to-face classes at various Gurdwara Sahibs, teaching is also offered through online platforms.
Furthermore, in our future journey we hope to enrich our sewa by including, in addition to Gatka, the teaching of other physical disciplines closely related to Sikh spirituality, such as horseback riding and Neje Baaji (tent pegging). These practices, deeply rooted in Sikh spirituality, not only promote physical well-being, but also self-discipline and connection with tradition. Another key goal of the project is the creation of print and digital publications in Italian, offering translations of Sikh spiritual and literary works, as well as original works, with the aim of making deep and meaningful knowledge about Sikhi accessible and promoting understanding and appreciation of Sikh philosophy in the contemporary context.

Itihasik Granth
Historical texts are of crucial importance in spiritual traditions, as they provide a fundamental context for understanding a community's philosophy, values, and practices. In Sikhi, as in other religions, these writings not only chronicle significant events and key figures, but also serve as ethical, moral, and spiritual guides for devotees.

Katha wale Granth
The importance of these granths lies in their ability to provide teachings on ethical wisdom, inner discipline and self-realization. They are not limited to the religious sphere but embrace concepts of politics, economics, ethics and the art of war, guiding those who study them towards a balanced and harmonious life.
